Unni Løvlid

Unni Løvlid is one of Norway’s leading folk music vocalists.

A versatile musician, she has taken part in a great variety of projects and genres in Norwegian folk, contemporary music and electronica, releasing three solo albums: ‘So ro liten tull’ (1999), ‘VITA’ (2005) and ‘RITE’ (2008). Unni is continually involved in new productions and events, and she continues to embrace a wide range of art forms both on stage and in the studio. In addition to her career as a solo artist, Unni is a member of the trio Seven Winds, together with Rolf-Erik Nystrøm and Becaye Aw, and the trio RUSK together with Frode Haltli and Vegar Vårdal. With these influences, her music is constantly evolving. She has received a number of awards for her contributions to folk singing, and she was the first artist to receive the Norwegian Folk Music Award in 2006.
